Good question at the time I really didn’t have a clue so I took advice from some trusted friends about what I should apply for and because I wanted to be able to shoot up in Scotland I wanted a good all-round calibre that will allow me to do that and the 6.5 seem to be a great choice. I then shot and practised a lot with the 6.5. I was very happy with it and I still am let me know how you get on and stay in touch. @@HunterGathererCooking if the distance between the rings at the top and the bottom is not equal, on both sides ,the torque is not distributed correctly on the tube. This can easily crack the scope tube.

The Elevation is their entry level, with less options, but the same accuracy guarantee and warranty. In the US, they run $3000 to $3500 or so, sans optics. Proof Research makes some of the finest barrels and rifles available anywhere, but it is proprietary technology, and you're going to pay for it.

Never heard so much rubbish about only using carbon and copper cleaner until after about 1.000 rounds in a new rifle!🙄

I have not used water on them yet.. I don’t think it will make too much of a difference but I could be wrong.
